Around 23,000 people were surveyed about which decade had the best music.

Here are the results:

1.  1980s . . . 22%.

2.  1970s . . . 21%.

3.  1990s . . . 15%.

4.  1960s . . . 13%.

5.  2000s tied with music earlier than 1950s . . . 6%

6.  The 2010s got 3% of the vote

7.  Our current decade, the 2020s, only got 2%.
