Texas Jam ’91 did not go as Van Halen had intended and a very tired, very road wore Sammy Hagar lost his voice to the point of not being able to do the show. True to form, always there for the fans first, VH popped up in the West End Downtown Dallas later in the year and put on a free show that would go down in history.
