Metallica Contributes $250K to Wildfire Relief Efforts

As California continues dealing with its worst wildfire season on record, Metallica has stepped up to the plate to help the cause.
The members of the group have donated $250,000 to wildfire relief efforts through their charity, the All Within My Hands Foundation. “Wildfires have become a cruel and unwelcome annual benchmark in California, and this year we have seen them tragically extend across the entire west coast of our country,” a post on Metallica’s website reads. “This year, we will be donating a sum of $250,000 to five organizations on the front line of this environmental crisis that has made its way into the lives and homes of far too many.”
The donation marks the fourth consecutive year that Metallica has contributed to California’s wildfire relief efforts.
