Gov Abbott on COVID-19 response in Texas

In his press conference today, Governor Greg Abbott provided more information regarding the State’s fight against the novel coronavirus. As of today there have been 55,000 Texans tested. Of those tested 5,478, less than 10%, tested positive for COVID-19. Abbott said nearly 90%  of those who are tested, test negative. He went on to say that only about 15% of those testing positive are hospitalized. There have been 91 confirmed fatalities in the State of Texas as a result of COVID-19.
