Did This Oregon Man Set A New World Record for Drunkest Driver EVER?!

We’ve seen a few world records fall at the Olympics this week. But Drunk Driving is NOT the type of record you want to break…right?!

A 28-year-old guy in Oregon named Nathan Danzuka may have set an insane new record for world’s DRUNKEST DRIVER.

He got pulled over in February for a hit-and-run.

When the cop told him to get out of the car, he took off. But, he didn’t get far.

He only made it a half-mile down the road before crashing into a concrete barrier.

His blood alcohol level was 0.778 —- that’s nearly TEN TIMES the legal limit!

He was just back in court and got 13 months in jail for it.

The judge also suspended his license for LIFE.

Now, obviously Guinness doesn’t hand out records for drunk driving.

But the website The Smoking Gun covers a lot of these kinds of stories, and they say it’s the drunkest driver they’ve ever seen.

Their previous record of 0.72 was held by a woman who ALSO lived in Oregon.

Back in 2007, she was found unconscious in her car after plowing into a snow bank.

(Here’s Nathan’s mugshot.)

For what it’s worth, our blood alcohol level gets into the potentially fatal range at .40 and up.
