Things To Look Forward To In March 2024

Can you believe it’s already March?! As we kick off the third month of 2024, here’s a list of things to look forward to this month:

• Daylight Saving Time starts up again on Sunday, March 10th.  So you’ll lose an hour of sleep that night, but it will begin staying light out later.

Sports:

• March Madness begins on Tuesday, March 19th.  The men’s tournament championship game is on April 8th.  The women’s tournament final is set for April 7th.  So get your brackets ready.
• MLB’s Opening Day is March 28th this year.  All 30 teams will play that day.

• “Dune 2” opens in theaters TODAY (3/1).
• “Kung Fu Panda 4” arrives March 8th.
• “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire” comes out March 29th.

TV:

• Season 11 of “The Masked Singer” hits Fox on March 6th.
• The Oscars are going down on March 10th.  Jimmy Kimmel is hosting again.
• The game show “Password” returns to NBC on March 12th.
• Season 20 of “Grey’s Anatomy” premieres on March 14th.
• “Apples Never Fall” hits Peacock on March 14th.
• The “Road House” remake with Jake Gyllenhaal hits Amazon March 21st.
• The World War Two drama “We Were the Lucky Ones” debuts on Hulu March 28th.

• St. Patrick’s Day is the 17th.  It’s on a Sunday this year, so don’t be surprised if some of your coworkers call out that Monday.
• Easter is March 31st.
• National Cereal Day is March 7th.
• Pi Day is March 14th.
• Corn Dog Day is March 16th.
• National Puppy Day is March 23rd.
• March 25th is International Waffle Day.
