The Top Side Dishes We’re Looking Forward To On Thanksgiving

You probably haven’t even finished digesting your kids’ Halloween candy yet, but too bad — we’re already moving on to Thanksgiving!

Campbell’s Soup released its annual Thanksgiving poll on America’s favorite sides.  As always, mashed potatoes are #1.

The TOP FIVE this year are:

1. mashed potatoes
2. stuffing
3. mac-and-cheese
4. sweet potatoes
5. green bean casserole

That’s the same five as last year.

However, stuffing did move up from 4th place to 2nd place and mac-and-cheese moved from the 5th spot to 3rd on the list.

Interestingly, 67% of Americans say they like the Thanksgiving side dishes MORE than the entrée (like turkey, ham, or a turkducken, if that’s your thing).  That’s up one percentage point from last year.

The poll also found 60% of adults claim they will celebrate “Friendsgiving” this year.
