The “Rolling Stone” List of the 100 Greatest Movies of the ’80s is WRONG!

It’s official – the people at “Rolling Stone” have lost their minds! They released their list of the so-called 100 Greatest Movies of the 1980s. I think they are WRONG & have to question whether the people who put this list together were even alive in the 1980s! Here’s their Top 20:
- “Do the Right Thing” (1989)
- “Videodrome” (1983)
- “Raging Bull” (1980)
- “Blue Velvet” (1986)
- “Ran” (1985)
- “Shoah” (1985)
- “Blade Runner” (1982)
- “Stranger Than Paradise” (1984)
- “The Thin Blue Line” (1988)
- “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981)
- “Sex, Lies and Videotape” (1989)
- “Come and See” (1985)
- “The Thing” (1982)
- “Brazil” (1985)
- “Die Hard” (1988)
- “The Shining” (1980)
- “Raising Arizona” (1987)
- “Say Anything” (1989)
- “Something Wild” (1986)
- “Blow Out” (1981)
A few other movies that are, in my opinion, completely in the wrong place on this list: “E.T.” (#27) . . . “The Terminator” (#28) . . . “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” (#32) . . . “The Empire Strikes Back” (#37) . . . “Aliens” (#51) . . . “Big” (#56) . . . “Bull Durham” (#58) . . . “Evil Dead 2” (#62) . . .“Back to the Future” (#65) . . . “Caddyshack” (#69) . . . “Ghostbusters” (#73) . . . “Heathers” (#76) . . . “The Little Mermaid” (#83) . . . “Airplane!” (#92) . . . “Scarface” (#96).
