LISTEN: Metallica Shares Original Demo For ‘Enter Sandman’

Metallica has opened up the vault and shared the original demo recording for their iconic hit “Enter Sandman”.
The all-instrumental demo was recorded by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich in Ulrich’s basement on July 12th, 1990 – based on a riff from a cassette tape given to them by Kirk Hammett.
The demo will be one of several unreleased tidbits included on the upcoming 30th anniversary reissue of the Black Album.
