Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets Of Knowledge For Your Noggin’ – (4/25/24)

Here are Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ – on this Thursday, April 25th, 2024. Let’s learn something together:

  1. Of the 16.1 million Americans who served during World War Two, there are only around 100,000 who are still remaining.  Five months ago, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs reported that 119,550 WW2 veterans were still with us, but we were losing 131 per day.  That puts the current number at about 100,000, who’d now be in their 90s or older.
  2. Michigan beat Stanford 49-to-zero in the first Rose Bowl game in 1902.  It was so bad that Stanford quit in the third quarter, and the Tournament of Roses committee canceled the game and only held a PARADE for the next 13 years.
  3. 20% of all the mammals in the world are different species of bats.
  4. The first country to adopt Christianity as its official religion was Armenia, in 301 A.D.
  5. Richard Nixon’s favorite food was cottage cheese with ketchup.

Be sure to share these 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ with your family, friends & coworkers at some point today!
