It seems like there are COUNTLESS bubbles in a glass of champagne, and scientists used to estimate that there are at least 15 million.  Now, new research says that it’s less than you may think:  Just about 1 million bubbles per glass.  And if you want MORE bubbles for whatever reason, you should serve it WARMER than usual, and tilt the flute more while pouring.
2. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards randomly met each other at a train station in 1961.  Mick was 18, Keith was 17, and they started talking about a blues record that Mick was holding.
3. The deadliest mountain in the world is “K2,” the second-highest mountain in the world behind Mount Everest.  Only 377 people have successfully climbed it and 91 have died trying.
4. The term “hooker” started in the 1820s when prostitutes would hang out in a part of Manhattan called Corlears Hook.
5. Chlorine was first added to pools in the 1940s because it could kill polio.
