Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets Of Knowledge For Your Noggin’ – (3/19/24)

Here are Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ – on this Tuesday, March 19th, 2024. Let’s learn something together:

  1. Everything is bigger in Texas, including the fleet of Dairy Queens.  Texas has 581 Dairy Queen locations, more than TWICE the state with the second-most, Ohio, which has 255.  Houston alone has 25 Dairy Queens.
  2. The Netherlands set up a fake communist political party in the ’60s to help them spy on China.
  3. Winnie the Pooh was named after a real bear named Winnie at the London Zoo, but that bear was female.
  4. There was a British remake of “That ’70s Show” called “Days Like These”.  It was almost identical to the American version, word-for-word and it was canceled after six episodes.  Meanwhile, over here, “That ’70s Show” lasted 200 episodes.  Part of that might be that Britain doesn’t let every show go on forever.  The American “Office” was a remake of a British show that only got 14 episodes.  The U.S. version lasted 201 episodes.
  5. The most expensive cheese in the world is made from a rare breed of DONKEY MILK in Serbia.  It’s called pule cheese and it costs $1,100 a pound.

Be sure to share these 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ with your family, friends & coworkers at some point today!
