Here are Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ – on this Monday, October 30th, 2023. Let’s learn something together:

  1. In 1934, there was a board game called “Toward Soviet America”, which was the OPPOSITE of “Monopoly”.  The goals were to: get rid of the rich and powerful, end oppression, and seize the means of production.  It didn’t catch on.
  2. The smell of fresh-cut grass is a distress signal. The grass is releasing a chemical that makes that smell to try to save itself from the mortal wound you just dealt to it.
  3. There was an official U.S. presidential yacht until Jimmy Carter got rid of it in 1977.
  4. Corn is a type of grass.
  5. Your head ages faster than your feet, although just by nanoseconds.  It’s because your head is slightly farther from Earth’s gravitational field.

Be sure to share these 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ with your family, friends & coworkers at some point today!
