You may THINK you have a sophisticated palate for coffee and you’re only truly happy with single-origin, hand-selected beans from the Guji Kayon mountains of western Ethiopia.
But, a new study says that’s probably not true.
Researchers found people who drink lots of coffee don’t actually LIKE the taste of coffee more than people who drink less.
However, big coffee drinkers did WANT coffee more.
So what does that mean?
The love you think you have for coffee, in reality, simply comes down to your addiction to its caffeine.
Your brain may be fooled into thinking you actually like the taste and flavor of different coffees when what you REALLY want is just the caffeine boost.
