Ace Frehley Says He Tried To Be Part Of Final KISS Show

Ace Frehley never joined up with the KISS farewell tour – but it wasn’t for lack of trying.
The guitarist told Rock Candy magazine he wanted to be part of the band’s final show at Madison Square Garden last month.
He says fans pressured him to reunite: “I want them to know that I did try, but I couldn’t make it happen. They never asked me.”
Frehley also says he’s not bitter towards his former bandmates: “I want people to know that I do love Paul and Gene… I wish things would have been different, but it wasn’t to be.”
Frehley will release a new solo album, 10,000 Volts, on Feb. 23rd.
