This year we celebrate an incredible 27 years of helping local families have enough food to eat through the Salvation Army of Grayson County‘s food pantry. Last year, in 2022, you set a record for donated money, canned goods & non-perishable food items!
With your help, we can bring in even more donations in 2023, because they are still DESPERATELY needed!
So, please get with your family, neighbors & co-workers now and start collecting your canned goods, other non-perishable items & cash donations for this year’s food drive. That way you can bring them all to us as we broadcast LIVE from Walmart in Sherman (Hwys 75 & 82) for the two & a half days before Thanksgiving.

So, what kinds of non-perishable food & other items are needed? Here’s that info from our friends at the Salvation Army of Grayson County:
Year after year The Salvation Army of Sherman serves families with food each month through meals to those experiencing homelessness and food pantry operations. In 2022, they assisted almost 2,000 families with grocery orders.
An estimated 35% of our neighbors in Grayson, Cooke, and Fannin County’s don’t know where their next meal is going to come from.
With the help of the community, we can ensure families receive enough food to help them survive day to day.
