Watch: Supreme Court Declines To Hear ‘Stairway To Heaven’ Copyright Case

The Supreme Court has handed Led Zeppelin a legal victory in a years-long copyright battle over “Stairway To Heaven”.
The band was being sued for allegedly stealing the song’s intro from a 1967 song called “Taurus” by the band Spirit.
On Monday, the Court declined to hear the case, upholding a prior jury verdict that ruled in favor of Zeppelin. The decision sets legal precedent for future cases involving accusations of plagiarism.
