I loved watching “Mean” Gene interview my favorite wrestlers when I was a kid. I’d imitate the wrestlers (like Hulk Hogan & Rowdy Roddy Piper) and how they talked with him…
“I’ll tell you something, Mean Gene…”
I didn’t know how much his death would actually impact me. Like a piece of my childhood ripped away by his passing. So, I admit, this tribute Hulk Hogan did to “Mean” Gene on RAW this week brought tears to my eyes. I hope it does the same for you, if you grew up watching him on TV.
R.I.P. “Mean” Gene…
Mean Gene was the voice of millions of childhoods. Mine certainly. An honor to meet him. Condolences to his family. pic.twitter.com/krsMtbeNIl — Florida Man (@WWEBigE) January 2, 2019
