Things to Look Forward to in March 2021
How are we already in the 3rd month of 2021 Mad Rock Nation?!
Here are a few things to look forward to in March.
Daylight Saving Time starts this month. We spring forward on March 14th. So the days will start feeling a little longer, but in a good way. And after some crazy late-winter weather, the first day of spring is coming up on the 20th.
The first March Madness in TWO YEARS gets started March 18th and runs through April 5th. Last year’s got cancelled because of Covid. It’s the only time that’s ever happened since the tournament started in 1939.
The Grammy Awards are in two weeks, on March 14th. Then the Oscar nominees are announced a day later.
Some popular TV shows come back this month:
- “The Voice” returns tonight
- “The Masked Singer” next Wednesday
Some BIG movies come out this moth, too:
- Eddie Murphy’s “Coming 2 America” will be released this Friday, March 5th on Amazon Prime.
- Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” comes out on HBO Max Thursday, March 18th.
- The action flick “Nobody”, starring Bob Odenkirk, hits theaters on Friday, March 26th.
- The new “Godzilla vs. Kong” movie hits theaters and HBO Max March 31st.
And finally, all the holidays in March.
The big ones are St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th, and Passover, which starts March 27th.
But we’ve also got some lesser-known holidays coming up:

- Ranch Dressing Day is the 10th
- National Napping Day on the 15th
- Crunchy Taco Day is the 21st
- National Puppy Day on the 23rd
- International Waffle Day on March 25th
