Things To Look Forward To In April 2023

Even though we’re technically one day away from the start of April, to help you prepare for all the activities and happenings — I’m going to go ahead and share with you a few things to look forward to in April 2023…

On Mad Rock:

In Sports:

• The Final Four in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament goes down tomorrow (4/1) with San Diego State vs. Florida Atlantic on one side of the bracket, Miami vs. UConn on the other.  Then the championship game is Monday (4/3).
• The Masters golf tournament is next weekend.
• The NBA and NHL playoffs both start in the middle of the month.
• The NFL Draft is at the end of the month.

In Movies:

• The Michael Jordan / Nike movie “Air” hits theaters next Wednesday (4/5).
• “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” also opens on 4/5.
• Guy Ritchie’s “The Covenant” is out April 21st.
• “Big George Foreman” comes out April 28th.

On Television:

• “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” hits Paramount+ on April 6th.
• “Fatal Attraction” is also coming to Paramount+ on April 30th.
• Season 5 of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” hits Amazon Prime on April 14th.
• Season 2 of “Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head” returns to Comedy Central and Paramount+ on April 20th.
• The CMT Music Awards are this Sunday (4/2).

The Holidays:

• The big one is Easter, which is on April 9th this year.
• Passover also begins next week on April 5th.
• National Beer Day is April 7th.
• National Pet Day is April 11th.
• Earth Day is April 22nd.
• Arbor Day is April 28th.
