Here’s the scenario: a friend calls you up and says they’ve been hearing all about this new band called Metallica – and they want you to recommend a song for them to check out. Which song do you choose?
Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo knows what his choice would be: “Disposable Heroes” from Master of Puppets.
Trujillo told Revolver the song “has a little bit of everything… well, not even a little bit, it’s got a lot of everything.”
He called it “one of my go-to classic Metallica songs” with “the perfect balance of what I call ‘power groove’.”
