Released on this day in 1972, Black Sabbath Vol. 4”  is Sabbath’s  first to be produced by guitarist Tony Iommi. The record goes on to sell more than a million copies. Considered by some, including former band members, to be the beginning of the end of the classic Sabbath line up, Vol 4 is legendary as much for it’s content as for the chaos that took place during it’s recording. Highlights include “Supernaut” and the incredibly beautiful “Changes” .
