Sammy Hagar Says He And EVH Buried The Hatchet Earlier This Year

Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen didn’t always get along, but Hagar says the two buried the hatchet earlier this year.
In a radio interview, Hagar said he called Eddie back in February, and his response was “what took you so long?” Hagar said that was “very touching to me”.
Hagar says they both decided at the time to keep their reconciliation a secret from the press – and that ending their feud is helping him deal with the news of Van Halen’s death.
