Roger Taylor: Freddie Mercury Would Think 20′ Statue In Garden Is “Hilarious”

What do you do with a 20-foot tall bronze statue of Freddie Mercury? Queen drummer Roger Taylor wants to stick it in his garden.
The statue was created to promote the Queen musical We Will Rock You and stood outside London’s Dominion Theatre from 2002 to 2014.
Now, Taylor wants to drag the statue out of its warehouse and install it outside his home – he’s even filed an application with the local Borough Council to approve it.
What would Mercury himself have thought of Taylor’s plan? “I think Freddie would have found it hilarious”.
