The organizers behind the Rock USA Festival have declared bankruptcy. This comes after complaints from ticket buyers about not receiving refunds.
Hypervibe, the organizers for Rock USA, released a statement explaining their silence on the matter and that Covid-19 has made it difficult for the company. “Many of you have attempted to contact us regarding refunds for prepaid tickets for the 2020 concerts. We do understand your frustration in not being able to obtain the refunds for your tickets quickly. We do want you to know that we have been trying to deal with this horrible and unforeseen disaster since it became apparent that we could not hold the events as planned,” the statement read.
The organizers did mention the status of ticket holders getting refunds, stating, “We are trying to do right by our loyal supporters and get you a refund, to the extent possible, quickly and equitably.”
Rock USA was scheduled for three days on Oshkosh, Wisconsin and had Rob Zombie, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit on the bill.
