Nikki Sixx Says He Nearly Joined Quiet Riot

The new Nikki Sixx memoir The First 21 is full of juicy stories – like the time he nearly joined Quiet Riot.
Sixx says was good friends with Riot guitarist Randy Rhoads and singer Kevin DuBrow, and says they tried to recruit him in the late 70’s, back when Quiet Riot was “the big game in town”.
But Nikki turned the opportunity down, telling them “I’m gonna stick with what I got” – which turned out to be a good idea.
The First 21: A Memoir will be out October 19th.
