Are you a leftie? If so, you get your moment in the spotlight today.
It’s National Left Hander’s Day.
About 10% of the world’s population is left-handed.
Another fun fact – Four of the last seven presidents have been lefties: Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, and Gerald Ford.
Also, more than 20% of Apollo astronauts were lefties.
In 1996, Harvard Medical School researchers found attorneys and architects as a group, were the most left-handed.
And another tidbit for your next trivia night: the formal name for left-handedness is sinistrality.
