Born on this date in 1991, Ozzy Osbourne’s 6th studio album, No More Tears. The album came at a time when Ozzy was expressing his disdane for touring and had decided this would be his “retirement tour”.  The run of shows, appropriately named, “No More Tours” would of course not be the end for The Prince of Darkness. The album was the first of Ozzy’s solo records to focus on outside writers contributing songs, with 6  tracks having been co-written by Motorhead Bassist / Vocalist Lemmy Kilmister, though only 4 appear on the final release.  No More Tears is to date one of Osbourne’s most commercially successful records having been awarded quadruple platinum status for sales in the US alone.
