Happy Birthday to a Masterpiece

On this date in 1971, Led Zeppelin IV arrived in stores. The album would contain some of Zeppelins biggest hits and long standing live favorites, including “Stairway To Heaven,” “Black Dog” and “Rock n’ Roll,” The untitled 4th release from the band would go on to sell over 37 million copies worldwide.

Fun Facts: The intro to Rock n Roll was born of drummer John Bonham “jamming” the intro to the Little Richard song “Keep a Knockin” and was essential written on the spot during recording. The four symbols featured on the album represent and were chosen by each band member.
