Ex-Queensryche singer Geoff Tate has announced plans to launch a tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of “Empire” and “Rage for Order.”
The 12-date trek, set to kick off in late summer, will actually be a continuation of “The Empire 30th Anniversary Tour,” which began in Norway early last year. However, several dates had to be rescheduled after the plug was pulled due to the pandemic.
After Tate was fired by his bandmates in 2012, both parties became involved in a legal battle over the use of the band’s name. A settlement was finally reached two years later that saw the band continuing as Queensryche with new singer Todd La Torre.
