Mad Rock 102.5, Heritage Butchery & Barbecue in Denison and the VFW Post 2772 in Sherman, TX present our 2023 MadRocktober “Rides & Ribs” event on Saturday, October 21st, 2023!
This fundraising event directly benefits the VFW Post 2772 & is being held in conjunction with the 90th Anniversary of the Post being founded in Sherman. Their goal is to raise enough money to resurface the parking lot of their facility at 1707 Baker Road in Sherman, TX.
The 2023 MadRocktober “Rides & Ribs” event features a Car Show (FIVE categories) sponsored by the Utter Family of Dealerships, a Bike Show (FIVE categories) and a BBQ Competition (TWO categories – ribs & brisket) sponsored by Tyson Foods.

Plus, during the event, the VFW Post 2772 is also holding a Silent Auction, LIVE Auction, Raffles and hosting Karaoke (J&S Allstar Karaoke) starting at 7pm that evening. We’ll also have LIVE musical performances from Texxas Heat & VFW member – Felton, as well as food, drinks, official event t-shirts & more available to purchase to help the VFW Post 2772 reach their fundraising goal!
