Elton John, Guns N’ Roses, AC/DC Make ‘Top 10 Tours’ List
It looks like Elton John’s final bow has turned out to be a lucrative venture for the classic rocker.
John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour checks in at number one on Billboard Boxscore’s “Top 10 Tours of All Time.” The trek has already made $818 million – and it’s not over yet. Also making the list is U2’s “360 Tour,” which appears at number three with $736 million. That’s followed by Guns N’ Roses’ “Not In This Lifetime” tour, which ran from 2016 through 2019, with $584 million. And AC/DC’s “Black Ice” tour, which lasted from 2008 until 2010, appears at number nine with $442 million.
Coming in at numbers five and six are the Rolling Stones, who earned $558 million on their “Bigger Bang Tour” and $547 million on their “No Filter Tour.” Roger Waters’ “The Wall Live” finishes at number eight with $459 million, right behind AC/DC’s “Black Ice World Tour,” with earned $442 million from 2008 through 2010.
