Earth Day: The Earth is Cleaner With People At Home

On this Earth Day, while the coronavirus is keeping people inside more, the planet and some of its creatures are reclaiming some space.
Air pollution levels in the Northeast United States are down 30 percent. In Rome, Italy, air pollution is down 49 percent. The smog in India has lifted allowing people to see sights not visible in years.
Urban wildlife sightings have increased as well. Coyotes in San Francisco and Chicago, goats in Wales, and a kangaroo hopping down an empty street in Adelaide, Australia have been viewed on social media.
I suppose there is a “silver lining” from this in that maybe things will be better moving forward.
