Did Sebastian Bach Nearly Join Van Halen?

Sebastian Bach just dropped a nugget that might have changed the course of rock history.
The ex-Skid Row frontman says there was “a little talk” about him joining Van Halen in 1996, after Sammy Hagar left the band.
Bach says it didn’t get far and he never actually auditioned for the gig. Van Halen would later hire Extreme’s Gary Cherone, who lasted for just one album.
