Dee Snider Blasts Rock Hall Of Fame As ‘Elitist’

Dee Snider is not one to hold back on his opinions – including his thoughts on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Twisted Sister frontman lashed out at the Hall on Twitter, calling its committee members “arrogant elitist a******s” that “look down on metal & other bands that sell millions because we’re not their definition of cool.”
Snider pinned the blame on Hall-founder and Rolling Stone editor Jann Wenner, tweeting “puppet master since day one. If it ain’t in Rolling Stone it is hard pressed to get into the Hall of Fame’.
This year’s list of HOF nominees includes heavy metal legends Iron Maiden. The finalists will be announced in May.
