Cops Are Hunting for a Guy Who Stole $12,000 Worth of Lynyrd Skynyrd Memorabilia

Sure, it’s a long shot this guy is in Texas or Oklahoma or any of you actually know him, but we thought we’d post this anyway.

Police need our help to find a 38-year-old guy named William James Walker from Orange Park, Florida. Orange Park is just outside of Jacksonville in the northeast part of the state.

Authorities say William stole a trailer from a parking lot outside a Days Inn.

And inside the trailer was about $12,000 worth of Lynyrd Skynyrd memorabilia!

The stuff was going to be sold at a cancer charity benefit in honor of Jimmie Van Zant.

The most valuable item in the trailer was a 1957 Les Paul guitar signed by several rock stars, plus a whole bunch of other Skynyrd stuff.

William is looking at a felony grand theft charge.

Can you help police locate him?

(Here is William’s mugshot.)
