Burglars Caught Because Truck Had Cardboard “Stolen Tag” Sign
Unbelievable! Don’t we all know by now the most important thing when committing a crime is NOT attracting attention to yourself?! And yet, some criminals just can’t help it…
A couple of guys in their 30s – Anthony Sosa & Chad Doulette – were arrested in Florida last Thursday for allegedly committing multiple burglaries.
They were caught because their truck didn’t have a license plate.
It just had a cardboard sign that said “Stolen Tag.”
Police say the pickup was spotted by witnesses outside several houses where the burglaries occurred & people, specifically, noticed the odd sign.
When police were alerted, they were able to track down the truck and pull it over.
They searched the truck and found stolen items including jewelry, as well as a handgun.
The men are facing multiple charges of grand theft and burglary.
And, it isn’t the first time.
Both guys have previous convictions for theft on their records.
