  2. The town of Spearfish, South Dakota holds the world record for the fastest temperature change.  On January 22nd, 1943, the temperature at 7:30 A.M. was minus-4, then the winds picked up and two minutes later, it was 45 degrees.
  3. After George Washington’s presidency was over, he opened up a whiskey distillery in Virginia, and it quickly became the biggest one in the country.  After he died, he left it to his nephew, and it wound up burning down.
  4. There aren’t many English words with all SIX vowels in order, but there are a few.  The only common one is facetiously.
  5. Golf balls have an average of 336 dimples, but they can have anywhere between 300 and 500.
