1. Wisconsin is the only state in the country, and the only place outside of Switzerland, where you can become a Master Cheesemaker.  It’s also the only U.S. state that requires a license to make cheese.
2. The world’s deepest underwater cave is in the Czech Republic.  It’s at least 1,704 feet deep. That’s as far as anyone’s been able to go, and they still haven’t found the bottom.  (Here’s video of a previous dive into it.)
3. Dennis Wilson was the only member of the Beach Boys who actually surfed.
4. Kellogg’s ripped off the idea for Pop-Tarts from Post.  Post announced they were going to be making a pastry for your toaster called Country Squares, so Kellogg’s quickly developed their own version, and got them out first in 1964.
5. The average human body is about 97.9 degrees, not 98.6.  We got the number 98.6 from a German study in 1868 that used less accurate thermometers than we have today.  The average body temperature is also dropping about 0.05 degrees every decade.
