Here are Big Dave’s 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ – on this Thursday, December 28th, 2023. Let’s learn something together:

  1. The U.S. state with the largest population growth since 2010 is:  Idaho, which has grown by 26%.  Utah is second, followed by Texas and Florida.  All four have grown by more than 20%.
  2. Only THREE U.S. states have a LOWER population than they did in 2010.  West Virginia has lost 5% of its population, Illinois is down by nearly 3% and Mississippi’s population is 1% lower over the past 13 years.
  3. The last time a Democrat was elected president after another Democrat’s term ended was James Buchanan in 1856.  Although Truman became president when FDR died, then got re-elected.
  4. Ron Jeremy was an extra in “Ghostbusters”.  He’s at the end, where a crowd of people on the street watch the Ghostbusters head into the building.
  5. Marvin Gaye trained to play pro football in 1970 and tried to get a tryout with the Detroit Lions.  But since he had ZERO football experience, the coach didn’t want him to get hurt and turned him down.

Be sure to share these 5 Nuggets of Knowledge for your Noggin’ with your family, friends & coworkers at some point today!
