Here are Big Dave’s 5 Random Facts for your Tuesday – October 19th, 2021. Let’s learn something together:

  1. Texas A&M University offers a class on Texas Barbecue that teaches the history of BBQ, cooking methodology, flavorings and seasonings, and different types of BBQ.  The class is offered in the fall and is held on Friday afternoons.
  2. Canada was almost named “Efisga,” which stood for England, France, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, and Aboriginal.
  3. New Hampshire is the only state where it’s still legal for an adult to drive without wearing a seatbelt.
  4. Stars can “eat” planets.  If a planet gets too close to its star, the star will basically pull it in and devour it.
  5. Rain contains the vitamin B12.
