- The word “phony” comes from “telephone” since early phones had such bad audio quality, it made people’s voices sound fake.
- Roughly two-thirds of the U.S. population lives within 100 miles of one of the country’s borders.
- 90% of the Canadian population lives within 100 miles of the U.S. border.
