An Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne Biopic Is Coming

The long rumored biopic about the lives of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne will, according to Sharon, not be just another “rock ‘n’ roll, sex, drugs and money movie about a musician” Sharon goes on to say, “there hasn’t been a movie about a woman that actually works on the management side – that’s a true story — and somebody that succeeds through the struggle and you come out the other side.” Mrs. Osbourne makes clear the film will focus on the early years of the relationship between she and Ozzy, beginning from the day they met and concluding with the couples wedding in 1982. The film will focus primarily on the young lives of  Sharon, who grew up the daughter of a powerful, wealthy and somewhat violent music executive father, and Ozzy who was raised in a poor and somewhat abusive home. As for who will play whom? Sharon teases she has some ideas regarding who would play her part, but says the role of a 20 -something year old Ozzy would have to be played by an unknown actor. No information has been discussed regarding a date of release, at press time Sharon was still looking for a suitable script.
