Released September 20, 1976 in Australia, AC/DC began recording the songs that would become Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap in December of 1975. It would be the bands third album released in Australia, the second released in Europe but would not see US store shelves until 1981, more than a year after vocalist Bon Scott’s death.
