Don’t be surprised when you come across new Alligator Warning Signs at Lake Texoma. Due to recent sightings of the reptiles, the Army Corps of Engineers have posted the signs.
You know, just in case.
Officials say they get one or two calls a month about Alligators spotted on the banks of the lake, mostly in the swampy/marshy areas (such as Johnson Creek).
Remember, if you see an Alligator at Lake Texoma – STAY AWAY FROM IT and simply call authorities to make them aware of its location.
