E. coli Boil Order for the SOWC

If you’re a customer of the Southern Oklahoma Water Corporation (SOWC), listen up! The Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) identified the presence of E. coli in the water, so a BOIL ORDER has been issued.

According to KXII, there are other areas in Carter County and Love County Oklahoma included in the order, because they purchase their water from the SOWC: C&W Mobile Home Park, Ardmore Air Park, Hidden Lake RV Park, Cedar Ridge RV Park, By the Lake RV Park & Lake Murray State Park.

Until further notice you need to use bottled water or bring your water to a full, rolling boil for no less than one full minute before use.
