Another Hit For Nintendo? Introducing The NES Classic Edition

Obviously, as a child of the 1980’s, I have a ton of great memories playing video games. From my Dad’s Intellivision system, to my Atari 2600 and eventually my Nintendo (which I completely wore out).

Apparently, I am a sucker for nostalgia, because I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am about Nintendo’s new gaming system! It’s called the NES Classic Edition and it features a miniaturized version of the old-school Nintendo Entertainment System with 30 built-in games and one controller.

Here’s the complete list of games:

  • Balloon Fight
  • Bubble Bobble
  • Castlevania
  • Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Double Dragon II: The Revenge
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • Final Fantasy
  • Galaga
  • Ghosts’N Goblins
  • Gradius
  • Ice Climber
  • Kid Icarus
  • Kirby’s Adventure
  • Mario Bros.
  • Mega Man 2
  • Metroid
  • Ninja Gaiden
  • Pac-Man
  • Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream
  • StarTropics
  • Super C
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Super Mario Bros. 2
  • Super Mario Bros. 3
  • Tecmo Bowl
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

And surprise, surprise, it’s scheduled to come out this November…just in time for Christmas. MSRP is $79.99, but expected to be priced in stores for about $59.99 or so.

Shut up and take my money!
